In a quiet mobile home community in Davison, Michigan, a grim discovery brought a tragic end to the life of 31-year-old Daniel Parks. The white / caucasian male's body was found on April 5, 2016, concealed within a shed behind the residence of 68-year-old Michael Oliver Murphy. The investigation into Parks' death quickly unfolded into a shocking tale of violence that deeply disturbed the local community.
At the time of his death, Parks had been living with Murphy.
The horrific nature of the crime came to the forefront when Murphy approached a neighbor seeking assistance in dismembering Parks' body.
