On June 21, 2019, Bryce Nathan DeGood, a 21-year-old from Orangeville, Michigan, was tragically found dead near the intersection of Lewis and Lindsey roads in Orangeville Township. His death was the result of a gunshot wound, and his body was discovered lying by the roadside. In a nearby home, the body of 73-year-old Gary Peake was also found, having suffered a similar fate. The community was left in shock as the news of the double homicide spread.
