In the early morning hours of October 21, 2022, a dispute between coworkers at the LG Energy Solution facility in Hazel Park, Michigan, turned fatal, claiming the life of 27-year-old Raphael Bryant Scott-French. A Black / African American male, Scott-French was an engineer who had been with the company for approximately two years. The incident that led to his death began as a workplace altercation and tragically escalated in the company parking lot.
