In the winter of 2018, the life of 21-year-old Tamorris Kewon Douglas, a Black/African American male, was cut short in a residence in Pearl, Mississippi. On the afternoon of January 3rd, police responded to a 911 call from a home on Reynolds Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Douglas suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
