Joe Rayner, a 26-year-old resident of Flora, Mississippi, was found dead on July 24, 2018, from a single gunshot wound. The incident occurred on Rabbit Run Lane in Madison County. The Madison County Sheriff's Department received a call at 6:47 p.m. reporting a deceased person at the location. Madison County Coroner Alex Breeland confirmed that Rayner was pronounced dead at the scene around 7 p.m. An autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
