A 32-year-old male, Johnny Armstrong III, a Navy veteran, husband, and father, was found deceased from gunshot wounds on Sunday, September 13, 2020, in Toomsuba, Mississippi. His body was discovered on the 3300 block of Highway 11 and 80 in Lauderdale County. At the time of the discovery, the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department initiated an investigation into his death.
