Paul Baldwin Duke, a 32-year-old resident of Tupelo, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2021, in Myrtle, Mississippi. The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. near the Sunshine Inn Assisted Living facility on Highway 178. According to Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards, Duke was shot in the head and was transported to The Med in Memphis, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Duke was an organ donor, and his death has since been classified as a murder.
