In the small town of Itta Bena, Mississippi, the life of 25-year-old Katie Leighanne Hill was tragically cut short on the night of October 15, 2022. A certified nursing assistant from nearby Sidon, she was a dedicated caregiver who had worked in various nursing homes and hospitals throughout the state. Her life, full of promise and service to others, ended in an act of gun violence that also claimed the life of 23-year-old Quindarius Andrews.
