Christian Saulsberry, a 25-year-old professional football player, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2022, in Walls, Mississippi. Saulsberry, who had recently completed a season with the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Elks, was attending a party in the 7400 block of Church Road when he was shot in the abdomen and leg. The incident occurred around 3:20 a.m., and despite efforts to transport him to the hospital, he was pronounced dead en route.
