In the quiet expanse of the Chiwaukee Prairie nature area in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, a grim discovery was made on March 18, 1981. The bodies of a man and a woman were found, both having been shot three times in the head. The woman was identified as Wendy McDade, a 29-year-old White former chorus girl. She was found alongside William Callahan, a 50-year-old executive from New York. Their identities were not immediately known as their bodies had been left with no identification.
