In the early hours of May 17, 2014, a quiet street in the Village of Plover, Wisconsin, became the scene of a fatal encounter. Charles Jameson, a 30-year-old Caucasian male from the nearby city of Stevens Point, was shot and killed inside a home on Easlan Drive. The residence belonged to an off-duty Portage County Sheriff's deputy, Tony Gischia.
