In the quiet town of Berlin, Wisconsin, a grim discovery shattered the evening calm on September 27, 2014. Melissa J. Tuinstra, a 28-year-old Caucasian woman, was found lifeless on a sidewalk, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds. The tragic scene, initially mistaken by a passerby as a macabre Halloween prank, quickly turned into a double homicide investigation when police discovered the body of 28-year-old Justin M.
