On a cold winter evening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of a promising young man was tragically cut short. Tracolli Surveyor, a 17-year-old Black/African American male, was killed on December 10, 2014. Known affectionately as "BoBo" or "Colli" to his friends and family, Tracolli was a senior at James Madison High School with a variety of interests. He was an avid gamer who loved "Call of Duty," but also enjoyed reading, boxing, mixed martial arts, and weight training.
His life was brought to a violent end in the 6200 block of North 84th Street.
Born on July 17, 1997, Tracolli was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Those who knew him remembered a young man who enjoyed spending quality time with his loved ones. His sudden death sent ripples of grief through his community, leaving his family and friends to grapple with an immense and senseless loss. The Milwaukee Police Department promptly identified the case as a homicide and began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
In the days following the incident, police confirmed they were actively searching for suspects responsible for Tracolli's death. However, despite their efforts, information regarding any arrests or the identification of a specific suspect or suspects has remained elusive. The case left a painful void for his family, who were left to mourn his passing while awaiting answers and closure that the ongoing investigation had yet to provide.
