Louis Cotto, age 29, was fatally shot on October 8, 2011, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m., when Cotto was standing on a street corner and became the target of a drive-by shooting. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and back, and was transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
