Marcus Nunn, a 16-year-old from Chicago, was killed on October 30, 2011. He was shot multiple times in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, which has faced significant struggles with gun violence over the years. Marcus was reportedly standing near the 7800 block of South Sangamon Street when he was targeted in the shooting. The attack took place during the evening, and Marcus was pronounced dead after being transported to a nearby medical facility.
