In the late summer of 2019, the life of Christopher Lytle, a 37-year-old Caucasian male from Baraboo, Wisconsin, came to an untimely and tragic end. On September 22, 2019, his body was discovered in a rural area within the Township of Fairfield, leading to a homicide investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff's Office. Lytle, a U.S. Army veteran who had served a tour in Iraq, was remembered by those who knew him for his passion for live-action role-playing, cooking, and the outdoors.
