In the late summer of 1972, a young White/Caucasian woman's life was tragically cut short, leaving a mystery that would haunt Snohomish County, Washington, for nearly half a century. On August 23rd, 20-year-old Jody Loomis, a vibrant female with a love for horses, set out on her 10-speed bicycle, heading to a local stable to ride her horse. She was last seen pedaling up a hill near the Bothell-Everett Highway around 5:00 p.m. Her journey, however, was violently interrupted.
