Roberto Luna, age 13, was shot and killed on April 7, 2012, in Chicago, Illinois. He was fatally shot while standing on the porch of a residence in the Brighton Park neighborhood, located on the city's southwest side. The shooting also injured two other teenagers, aged 15 and 16, who were nearby at the time. The incident was reportedly part of a drive-by shooting, which is a common form of violence linked to ongoing gang conflicts in certain areas of Chicago.
