In the warm summer of 2014, the life of 19-year-old Eduardo Lara, a Hispanic male, was cut tragically short. On June 28, in the quiet setting of Orondo County Park in Orondo, Washington, what should have been a peaceful gathering turned into a scene of violence and loss. Lara was found with a fatal gunshot wound, bringing a swift and devastating end to his young life.
In the immediate aftermath of the incident, which occurred just after 12:30 a.m., law enforcement was called to the scene
to investigate reports of gunfire. Responders discovered Lara gravely injured, and he was quickly transported to a hospital in Wenatchee.
