Andre Myrick, a 30-year-old resident of Chicago, was fatally shot on April 20, 2012. The incident took place in the 1400 block of North Keeler Avenue around 5:17 p.m. Myrick was outside a residential building when he was approached by two male suspects, and an argument ensued. The confrontation escalated, resulting in multiple gunshots. Myrick was struck several times, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting.
