On a tragic day in June of 2019, the community of White Swan on the Yakama Reservation was shaken by a violent outburst that claimed the lives of five people. Among them was Michelle Starnes, a 51-year-old woman, whose life was cut short on June 8th by an act of gun violence. This devastating event left a lasting mark on the families and the entire reservation.
