Deputy Sheriff George M. Hart, aged 56, tragically lost his life on November 24, 1912, in Winchester, Kentucky. He was fatally shot while investigating a shooting incident at a railroad camp located at the corner of Main and Broadway. The incident occurred on a Sunday evening, just after 6 o'clock.
