Jimmy Ray Tolson, who was serving as the Chief of Police in Campton, Kentucky, tragically lost his life on June 26, 1978, at the young age of 23. On that fateful day, Chief Tolson was seated at his desk in city hall, engaged in a conversation with his brother and his girlfriend.
