In the winter of 2013, the life of 20-year-old Caitlin Paige Cornett of Hazard, Kentucky, was tragically cut short. On January 15th, she was shot and killed in a parking lot at the Hazard Community and Technical College. Caitlin had arranged to meet her ex-boyfriend, 21-year-old Dalton Lee Stidham, to pick up their two-year-old son after a court-ordered visit. The exchange turned deadly when Stidham opened fire.
