Former Boyd substitute teacher faces new charges
The grand jury also indicted Micky Stamper, 31, of Oldtown, on one count of first-degree burglary. The indictment alleges Stamper entered a home in the 5000 block of Culp Creek Road on May 30 and that he was armed with a deadly weapon. First-degree burglary is a class B felony that carries a penalty of 10 to 20 years in prison.

On January 26, 1994, the Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted Byers, Graham, Schwalm, and Rowe on complicity to commit one felony count of capital murder, one felony count of first-degree assault, and one felony count of first-degree wanton endangerment.1 In June 1994, the trial court ordered that the defendants be tried separately. On March 14, 1995, Rowe entered into a plea agreement with the Commonwealth. He agreed to plead guilty to one count of complicity to commit murder and to testify truthfully in the trials of the other co-defendants.
