In the quiet community of Walker, Kentucky, the life of 30-year-old Shane Mills, a white male, was cut short on the evening of May 4, 2016. He was found inside his residence on Trace Branch Road, the victim of a fatal shooting. The Kentucky State Police were summoned to the scene shortly before 9:30 p.m., where they discovered Mills's body and immediately began a homicide investigation.
