Micah Sammons, aged 20, was found dead on March 23, 2018, near a strip mine in Warfield, KY. He was one of the victims in a triple shooting incident that also claimed the lives of Derek James, 26, and Amber Lockhard, 31. The bodies of Sammons and James were discovered at the scene, while Lockhard was initially found alive but later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
