In the fall of 2018, a tragedy unfolded in a Georgetown, Kentucky, apartment that left a community in mourning and two young children without their parents. On the afternoon of November 8th, the life of 26-year-old Nicole L. 'Nikki' Stininger was cut short in what investigators would later describe as a murder-suicide.
