On a Tuesday evening in May of 2019, the quiet of a rural Scottsville, Kentucky community was broken by the discovery of a local man's body. Justin A. Wix, a 47-year-old White / Caucasian male, was found deceased near the driveway of his residence on Stinson Lane, close to the Tennessee state line. The tranquility of the area was shattered by the violent nature of his death; he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner's Office.
