Death by Force

Donna G. Lay, aged 57, was reported missing on January 27, 2021, by a neighbor who had not seen her for several weeks. The investigation quickly turned into a homicide case when her remains were discovered inside her Williamsburg, KY apartment on February 1, 2021. The body was found in a large garbage can, sealed with duct tape and wrapped in black plastic, inside a closet. The condition of the body indicated it had been there for two to three weeks.
