In the late summer of 2022, a dispute over money between a father and son in Lewisburg, Kentucky, escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving one man dead and the other facing a murder charge that would later be dismissed. Richard Evans, a 37-year-old male, was shot and killed by his father, Darrell Evans, then 61, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at his father's home.
