The incident occurred when Robin Bhattacharyya, the ex-husband of Charles Hanson's wife, Svetlana Hanson, fired shots into the couple's home. The gunshots resulted in the deaths of both Charles Hanson and Svetlana Hanson, who was 24 years old.
