On April 8, 2011, a tragedy unfolded in a Brooklyn Park, Minnesota grocery store, ending the life of 20-year-old Abigail Fedeli, a White female. The setting was the employee break room of the Festival Foods where she worked. It was here that her ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Aaron Parson, also an employee of the store, confronted her.
