In the fall of 2013, a concerning message from a relative prompted a welfare check at a Rosemount, Minnesota apartment, leading to a tragic discovery. On October 8, 2013, police entered the residence to find the bodies of 32-year-old Steven Lee Vasey Jr., a White/Caucasian male, and his 31-year-old wife, Melissa Vasey. The scene within the apartment told a grim story that would soon be unraveled by investigators.
