In the quiet city of Winona, Minnesota, a tragic event unfolded on a Friday afternoon in May. On May 15, 2015, police were called to a home on the 1500 block of West King Street. Inside, they discovered the body of 75-year-old Carol Lee Alexander-Pickart, a White female who had been fatally shot in the head.
