On September 9, 2018, Benjamin Charles Blake Jr., aged 34, was fatally shot in Onamia, Minnesota. The incident occurred around 12:42 p.m. outside a house on the 16000 block of Ojibwe Drive. According to reports, a 911 call was made by a woman who heard a gunshot after someone rang her doorbell and asked for a ride to the hospital.
