On August 17, 2015, a fatal encounter unfolded in a Hutchinson, Kansas, residence that resulted in the death of 24-year-old Hispanic male, Jose Morales. The incident, which took place at a home in the 300 block of East 7th, was the culmination of a drug transaction that had begun the previous day.
