In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 18, 2019, the life of 18-year-old Erik Garcia-Holstone of Sparks, Nevada, was tragically cut short. A male, he was the victim of a shooting that occurred around 3:30 a.m. in Sun Valley, Nevada, during what authorities described as a large gathering. The incident unfolded in the vicinity of Sidehill Drive and Quartz Lane, shattering the predawn quiet with the sound of gunfire.
