In the late summer of 1977, a young woman named Christine Michelle Jones, an 18-year-old white female, tragically lost her life in Boulder County, Colorado. On the afternoon of September 1st, concern grew for Christine when she did not come back from washing her car at a nearby creek. Her family went to look for her and made a devastating discovery in the waters of Left Hand Creek, about one and a half miles above Buckingham Park in Left Hand Canyon.
