In the late summer of 1998, the life of 19-year-old Michael Martinez, a Hispanic/Latino male, came to a violent and mysterious end in Arapahoe County, Colorado. His death was discovered in the midst of a frantic manhunt for him and his friend, Alex Pogosyan. The pair were the prime suspects in a brutal shooting spree that had left five people dead in an Aurora neighborhood on September 7, 1998.
