In the spring of 1999, the life of Malcolm Davis, a 40-year-old Black man, came to a violent end in Lakewood, Colorado. On the evening of April 3rd, inside a residence at 1415 Zephyr Street, a confrontation escalated to the point of gunfire, and Davis was fatally shot twice. The investigation into his death would reveal a complex personal life that authorities believe played a central role in the tragic events of that night.
