In a senseless act of violence that shattered the peace of a community park, a young man's life was tragically cut short. On a December evening in 2014, 21-year-old Hector Manuel Castillo was fatally shot at England Park in Westminster, Colorado. The incident, which also left 25-year-old Aaron Castillo wounded, stemmed from a confrontation that escalated into a deadly encounter. Both men were reportedly shot in the back as they tried to leave the park.
