Abraham C. Cooper, aged 19, was shot and killed on December 23, 2014, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. Abraham was a victim of gun violence that took place as part of broader conflicts involving gang activity. The shooting occurred when he was targeted by gang members, one of whom was later identified as being associated with the Wicked Town faction of the Traveling Vice Lords, a street gang active on Chicago's West Side.
