David Wade Barter, a 42-year-old male, tragically lost his life on November 16, 2017, while on a hunting trip in Saguache, Colorado. An Arizona native and a respected captain with the Daisy Mountain Fire and Medical department, Barter was a seasoned outdoorsman. The incident that led to his untimely death was determined to be a hunting accident. There have been no reports of any arrests or suspects in connection with this unfortunate event.
