On August 31, 1997, a tragic incident occurred in Albuquerque, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 18-year-old Rocky Venegas. Deputies from the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to 2204 Mayflower Road SW in response to a report of a possible shooting at a party. Upon arrival, they found Rocky Venegas unresponsive. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, specifically a gunshot wound.
