On June 4, 2019, a fatal shooting occurred at a Motel 6 located on University Blvd in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The victim, identified as 40-year-old Bobby Jason Cook, was found in the parking lot of the motel with a gunshot wound to his chest. Albuquerque Police Department officers responded to reports of the shooting and provided aid to Cook until medical services arrived. Despite these efforts, Cook succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital.
