John Anthony Mares Jr., a 31-year-old lifelong resident of Albuquerque and Pena Blanca, New Mexico, tragically lost his life on April 25, 2023. The incident occurred at 241 Charleston St. NE in Albuquerque, where officers were dispatched in response to a reported shooting.
