On May 19, 1993, a tragic incident occurred in Albuquerque, New Mexico, involving the death of 38-year-old Thomas Kelly. The case, designated as Case Number 93-74937, began with reports of gunshots heard near the 6900 block of 2nd Street NW. Upon investigation, police found Thomas Kelly, a store clerk, lying in the doorway of the News Stand store where he worked.
