On a crisp December evening in 2004, the life of a dedicated public servant, Robert Walter Hedman, a 49-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in Otero County, New Mexico. A veteran of the United States Army who had served in the Vietnam War, Hedman had dedicated his life to serving his community, first with the Tularosa Police Department, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, and the Alamogordo Department of Public Safety, and for the final three years of his life, with the Otero ...
