In the late summer of 2006, the life of a young boy, Jeremy Salazar, was tragically cut short in Albuquerque, New Mexico. On August 23, the 13-year-old male became a victim of gun violence. The sudden and violent nature of his death left his family and the community in shock. He was the son of Maxine and John Salazar and a brother to Johnny Salazar.
